    Join us to celebrate Children's Day and the Winter Solstice! A traditional Shambhala festival, Children's Day offers a chance for the whole community to come together to honor our children and celebrate the warmth and light in each of us. During the shortest, darkest days of winter, we can shine the light of our basic goodness out into the world! This festival is for the whole community, not only for children and families. We would love to have you join us!

    Children's Day Schedule:  

    9:00       Regular Sunday sitting in the Main Shrine Room 

    10:30     Children & parents gather in the Shambhala Shrine Room to make beeswax candles

    11:00     Festival begins in the Main Shrine Room, including stories & songs for all ages, candle lighting, and blessings from the King & Queen of Shambhala

    Noon     Potluck lunch - please bring a dish if you can!
