Winter Practice Intensive: Living Beautifully With Uncertainty and Change

December 26th—December 30th (2018)

Date details +

In Shambhala, a Nyinthün is a day-long meditation session. Nyin in Tibetan means “day”, and thün means “session” of formal meditation. This is an opportunity to really deepen and energize one's own practice.

Each day will begin and end with English-language Buddhist chants and will mostly consist of alternating periods of sitting and walking meditation. The days will be supported by Pema Chödrön teachings in the form of video recordings and readings from her book Living Beautifully With Uncertainty and Change.

Functional silence will be observed during these day of practice.

    9am - 12pm - Opening chants, sitting, walking, readings
    12pm - 1pm - Lunch*
