Harvest of Peace Sadhana of Madamudra Practice

September 20th

Date details +

Please save the date for our annual Harvest of Peace celebration, coming up on Sunday, September 20th.  Harvest of Peace is one of our four “Nyida” (Sun and Moon) celebrations in which we connect to the realities of Earth and Sky, honoring the changing of the seasons and rooting ourselves in our connections to the elements and the environment. In the case of the Harvest of Peace, we are honoring the autumn equinox, with all of its associations of bounty and celebrations of the harvest with friends and family.

This year, the Governing Council of the Burlington Shambhala Center will be holding the Sadhana of Mahamudra practice, streamed live from the Main Shrine Room. ALL are invited to join us virtually at:

Due to State and Federal guidelines to limit gatherings in a confined space to small numbers, we will not be admitting those who physically show up for practice.

Though, if it turns out to be a nice day, we would love to invite you to join us for a socially-distanced walk to Red Rocks at 3pm, in order to fulfill that human-to-human interaction our sangha has been missing. If anyone would like to join, please register so we know to expect you and not walk away without you! We will be convening outside the Center at 3pm.

We hope to see you there!
