By learning to trust our nature enough, to let go into the present moment with gentleness and precision, the Shambhala teachings help us to soften our hearts and appreciate the sacredness of our daily lives.

As we are increasingly able to communicate with the world gently and fearlessly,  we connect with the pervasive, innate quality of awakened mind.

Open Sky is the fifth and final weekend in the Shambhala Training, Heart of Warriorship, program. The Heart of Warriorship program provides a strong foundation in mindfulness-awareness meditation practice, emphasizing the development of genuineness, confidence, humor, and dignity within the complexity of daily life.

Shambhala Training Level IV is a prerequisite for Level V.

Full Program Fee: $100
This price covers Burlington Shambhala Center’s actual operating cost for the program (including ongoing costs of running the Center).

Sponsor Program Fee: $160
This price, in addition to covering BSC’s cost for the program, extends generosity to other participants.  Thanks to you, we will be able to make more scholarships available to support people on the Shambhala path.

Generosity Policy:
Our generosity policy supports individuals who are undergoing financial hardship.  Please contemplate how much you can truly offer at this time (more, less, or the suggested full program fee) based on your circumstances.  The full program fee reflects the minimum operating cost of offering this program.    Pre-arrangements are necessary as we cannot accommodate “pay-what-you-can-at-the-door”.  Please contact Myra Woodruff at [email protected].
No one will be turned away for financial reasons.
